Accounts and identity verification
Your Personal Area manages registration details and trading accounts. Verification confirms the account holder and affects access to some account and payment functions.
How do I create an Exness trading account?
Register a Personal Area, then create a trading account using the account types and MT4 or MT5 options available in your region. Explore the trading platforms for compatible terminals. Account access and payment limits depend on verification and applicable requirements.
How long does identity verification take?
Timing depends on document quality, matching information and any additional review. Check your Personal Area for status updates. If a document is rejected, address the stated reason before submitting a replacement.
Can I create more than one trading account?
Yes. One Personal Area can manage several trading accounts for different account types, MT4 or MT5 platforms and trading arrangements. Each account has its own details. Available types and account limits follow your regional and account conditions.
What should I do if I forget my password?
First identify which password you need. Reset your Personal Area password through the sign-in page; change a trading password in the corresponding account settings. Follow the security verification prompts and keep passwords and verification codes private.
What is the difference between a demo and a live account?
A demo account uses virtual funds to practice platform operation and test ideas; its balance cannot be withdrawn. A live account uses actual funds and produces real profits or losses. Demo results do not guarantee live performance or fully reflect live execution and financial pressure.
Deposits, withdrawals and payment methods
Your Personal Area lists available payment methods, limits, fees and estimated times. Processing a request and receiving funds are separate stages.
How long do Exness deposits and withdrawals take?
Timing depends on the payment method. Most withdrawal requests are processed automatically, but this does not mean every channel delivers funds immediately. Review the method’s estimated time and the transaction status in your Personal Area.
Which payment methods does Exness support?
Exness provides local and international payment options, which may include cards, bank transfers and electronic payment services. Your available options depend on region, verification and provider availability; another client’s options may differ from yours.
Why did a withdrawal fail or not arrive?
Check the transaction status, any failure reason, payment details and expected processing time. Payments must use eligible accounts in your own name. If funds have not arrived after the expected period, keep the transaction reference, amount and date, then use the support channels to request a payment investigation.
What is the minimum deposit at Exness?
The account’s first deposit requirement and the payment method’s minimum amount are separate conditions and may differ. Account type, region and payment provider affect the amount required. Review both requirements in your Personal Area.
Do withdrawals have to use the original deposit method?
Withdrawal options depend on deposit history, payment rules and account circumstances. Do not assume any method can replace the original one. Funds must go to an eligible account in your name; if the original channel is unavailable, ask Exness support about the permitted alternatives.
Trading conditions and account protection
Leverage affects margin requirements, swaps affect holding costs, and stop outs and protection features have their own conditions.
Which markets can I trade with Exness?
Exness offers CFDs on forex, metals, energy, indices, stocks and cryptocurrencies. CFDs settle changes in the underlying price without giving ownership of the underlying asset. Instruments, trading hours and fees depend on your account and regional service availability.
How do I change leverage on an Exness account?
View or adjust maximum leverage in your trading account settings in Personal Area. Actual leverage also depends on equity, instrument rules, region and higher margin requirements. Fixed-margin instruments do not simply follow the account leverage setting. Lower leverage can increase margin requirements, so review available margin when positions are open.
What is Negative Balance Protection?
Negative Balance Protection addresses negative balances caused by trading losses under the applicable rules. It does not mean a negative figure can never appear temporarily. It is not a stop-loss order or capital guarantee; you can still lose all funds in the trading account.
What does swap-free mean at Exness?
Eligible accounts and instruments can qualify for exemption from applicable overnight swap charges. Eligibility and instrument coverage follow current rules. Swap-free status does not remove spreads, commissions or other applicable charges.
How does Stop Out work at Exness?
Stop Out is the automatic closure of positions when the account reaches specified conditions. Thresholds and exceptions depend on account and instrument rules. Stop Out Protection is a separate feature that may help delay stop outs; it does not guarantee that positions remain open. A 0% level does not mean there is no risk of loss.
Trading platforms and login details
Personal Area handles account management; trading platforms provide quotes and order tools. MT4, MT5 and Exness platforms have different compatibility requirements.
Which trading platforms does Exness support?
Exness supports Exness Trade, Exness Terminal, MT4, MT5 and MetaTrader WebTerminal. View the trading platforms for device options. Exness Trade in-app trading and Exness Terminal support MT5 accounts; MT4 accounts use the appropriate MetaTrader terminal.
Should I choose MT4 or MT5?
Match your existing account first: MT4 accounts use MT4, and MT5 accounts use MT5. EAs, indicators and scripts must also match their program environment. MQL4 and MQL5 are used by different platforms and cannot be used interchangeably.
Do I need to install software for web trading?
No. Open the web terminal in a compatible browser to view charts and manage orders. Exness Terminal and MetaTrader WebTerminal have different account coverage. Desktop EAs, MetaEditor and the Strategy Tester do not run in web terminals.
Can I use the same account on phone and computer?
Yes. Compatible terminals can access the same account and display orders and positions recorded on the trading server. Local charts, indicators and layouts may not sync. Exness Trade in-app trading supports MT5; MT4 accounts use the MT4 mobile app.
What should I check if the terminal will not log in?
Check that the terminal matches the account platform, then confirm the trading account number, trading password and server. Your Personal Area password is not the MetaTrader trading password. Review the network and error message; use the support channels if the problem continues, without sharing passwords or verification codes.
Customer support and account security
Exness support handles account, payment and verification enquiries. This site’s contact options can also be used for website content feedback.
Does Exness offer 24/7 customer support?
Exness provides 24/7 customer support, though availability can differ by language, channel and region. Select your language in the support interface to see current contact options. If a live channel is unavailable, submit a support request.
How do I contact Exness support?
Sign in to Personal Area and use Support Hub or the available contact options. You can also review the support channels. For trading or payment enquiries, prepare the reference number, date and error details to help locate the issue.
How long does Exness take to answer a support ticket?
An initial reply and a completed investigation are different stages. Timing depends on the issue, review and any further information needed. Check Support Hub for request updates and notifications rather than treating a response estimate as a resolution deadline.
Can I change my registered email or phone number?
Phone numbers and security methods follow the options and verification process in Personal Area; registered email changes may have different restrictions. If you cannot access your original contact details, ask Exness support about the recovery process. Do not submit identity documents or verification codes through this site’s public forms.
How can I spot a fake Exness site or scam message?
Check the domain, sender and payment destination. Be cautious of guaranteed returns, requests to transfer funds to personal accounts, or demands for passwords and codes. Verify messages through a known Personal Area or support channel. If credentials are exposed, change the password and contact support promptly.
Need help with a specific issue?
Prepare a description of the issue, the transaction or order reference and any error message, then contact the relevant Exness support channel.
